As title THANKS to Country joe for his help, and efforts well above the call of duty!
Have a bit of a run yesterday helping a friend move his daughters mother stuff from york.
my day started at 4am emptying my delica work truck so all my one ton of tools welders etc stuff out 5.30 am then set off from north wales for york, load car with and have to sort out the mess of household stuff, hehe my car was so full, we went to gear for music and when I bought a drum head from there, a flat 14 inch package it could not fit it in the car !! and had to live on dashboard ! The front seats needed to be 100mm forward so it not comfy at all.
Then started trip to by heathrow to find roads closed etc and had to divert 80 mls to then find her new flat in middle of london coming in from south of london, bloody place was up 10 flights of stairs !! and NO lift !! unload all the stuff and up into flat, no drink even offered!! then set off for bristol to meets country joe.
He came out at stupid aclock to meet me at bristol train station and bring my drum rack , stopped for food on m4 eventually after three services closed, then m4 road closed at junction 2 so deture round to m54 etc then back up A5 back home for 4.30 am... Total of 730mls which is an average of 30 mph if I was actually driving for all those hours but I couldnt drive while loading and off loading obviously . I drove the whole trip PS would love to have averaged 30mph in london ! hehe prob average 2mph in there. bloody poo hole.
Not bad days work for someone with 20% heart effieciency I think.
