Just want to say thanks to Steve for supplying me with my new Clarke 160T mig welder and electronic mask.

Service was first class and only took 2 days from payment to delivery via TNT and package was cheaper than anywhere in the land

Oh yeah and this is my project

From this - Concours show car

Then decided to srtip it to bare bone for full nut and bolt restoration

It requires new front floor pans, both outer sills, inner and outer rear arches and new headlight panels. Should be fun

Mmmmm that may take a bit more than just a panel

Mine aint bad really but with it being a concours car i cant just patch it up here and there as i will lose points.

Also its amazing how much a bodykit hides

your escort looks peachy a beaut hope the rebuild goes well, my very first car was a (mk1 escort) and i loved it (there wasn't much that was original when i got shut!)

i had chance of an MGBGT last year,for a couple of hundred which would have been a total strip and rebuild, everything mechanical seemed ok, it was just full of tinworm, that wouldn't have been a problem though as everything can be bought to completely build a car

if i had the room, i would have bought it, unfortunately i have a massive old estate car in the garage and my lads knacklered 205gti on the drive (supposed to be putting an mi16 engine in that- that's in the garage too)
