I have a Starparts SR-26 torch and it feels big and unwieldy. But as a noob, I don't want to fall into the trap of thinking spending money on different toys will make me any better at welding.
I like the fact that the torch has a switch on it as, in my head at least, not having to think about a pedal means I have one less thing to think about. But I assume using a pedal will mean I can have a smaller torch and lighter hose.
As I'm not expecting to need more than 150A any time soon (if ever), I'd be interested in thoughts on a getting a size 17 and switching to a pedal.
