Been a long time since I’ve been on here but need some help.
have this brace to copy for sunroof infil panel I’ve done on a car (Opel manta)
It needs another put in place to make the roof more solid and less ‘bongy’.
Trying to figure out the best way to generally copy it. The main issue is the slight curve the brace has to follow the profile of the roof. I don’t have a shrinker/stretcher anymore. But I have thought of doing it in 3 pieces with some wooden forms to keep the curve then fold over and stretch the edges at the same time then weld on the flats after to follow the curve.
Any guidance much appreciated.
