Firstly, I think I have read every thread on here about tube bending but I am still unsure what type of tube bender I would need to bend 1 1/2" od (1.5mm wall) 304 Stainless Steel tube. I only need to bend each end of a 2 metre length by 45 degrees, I'm not sure of the radius of the bend yet(not quite sussed out how to work that out yet) but it doesnt need to be a tight radius and is not really important.
I have looked at the Pro Tools 105 bender and as far as I can tell it would be able to do the job, but would it give me a perfect bend without and visible deformation? or is this only possible using a mandrel? Is there any bender out there that is cheaper than this one, £599 without the die, and only 399 dollars if I were in the US :-(
I'm hoping I can find a way of bending this tube myself(without spending a fortune) if not, can anyone recommend a local company to do this? I'm in Gloucester.
Many Thanks
