Basic amps / wire thickness question.

I was maxing out 5mm (to 5mm) with my Oxford 200, MB25 with 0.8mm.
I felt wire size was holding it back rather than the welder (the 3m torch also got pretty hot melting the plastic shroud ferrule)

Do you have the right thread rolls in it?
Are they properly hitched?
