I've just acquired a bandsaw labelled as a Nutool BS412.
I can't find a manual for it and am unclear on a couple of points:
1) The belt fitted looks to have been far too wide and is pretty trashed. It's marked as A22 but the spec I've found for that doesn't seem to match with what's left of it.
The pulleys look as though they'll take a ½" x ½" belt (3/16" at its narrowest).
What is the right belt for the saw?
2) There's no obvious belt tensioner. It's just the weight of the motor that's keeping any tension on the belt. Which seem wrong, but there's nowhere for anything missing to fit.
3) For the tension of the saw blade itself, as there's just a 2" dia knob to turn, from what I can see, the recommendation is just to tighten the bejeezus out of it. Yes/No?
