I make lead balls to shoot from an old revolver. the balls come out at about .454 to .457 inch but they have a sprue mark on one end where they are separated from the mould. Is there a way to make 2 halves of a mould in, maybe, steel to allow each ball to be squished back into a better round shape? I once bought a box of balls that were almost perfect spheres but I don't know how else to copy them.
Any thoughts?
