Hi folks,
I've bought an Autolynx 2 MIG welder off eBay, for a song. Gosh it's a soidly-equipped machine (92kg). The motor drive works beautifully as per trigger on torch. But there's no power to the gas valve, nor to the torch. Hence no welding.
I've a barely-legible copy of the manual. It shows the main terminal blocks where I've been able to check for mains voltage in. But I can't quite work out where the output voltages (about 20V at the torch and about same to drive the gas valve) are.
I know it's risky but would you advise me to continue probing inside with my ammeter with the power connected? Or to get someone else to fix it?
