Hi all,
Today's project involved removing the 3 gallon under sink water heater from the workshop and finding out why it decided to pour water all over the floor last weekend.
Now I know these things are not meant to be taken apart but really, would you lot have ever forgiven me if I'd simply thrown it in the bin without looking?!!!
So I prised the casing off and rigged up a hose to pressurise it a little and the hissing directed me to the right bits of foam to cut away.
It wasn't long before I found the culprit.
Sadly not much I can do with this so a replacement will be sought tomorrow.
I know I've had it a couple of years, (five I think) and it is made in Italy, but I thought it was only 70's Fiats that rusted like that!
Hey ho, onwards and upwards.
