    hi

I have just bought a used Aristomig 400 with aristofeed 30. Never used one before! Has anyone got any pointers of things to look for with them! Or tell me where I would be able to find a user manual!

Stick a photo up mate as there are quite a few different model variants from different years

Will do collecting it over the next day or two. Don’t really know a lot about them but the price seemed right so I thought I’d have a punt at it!

Those aren’t ESAB machines. They certainly aren’t the aristomig models.
Those are the thermal arc sp range of migs built by Lorch. They are essentially a slightly de tuned Lorch S series. Excellent migs and better than the ESAB sets imo but if I wanted to buy one I’d buy the actual S series from Lorch to have cart blanche access to the Lorch speed processes. Anyone taking advantage of pulsed mig welding should seriously consider the speedpulse XT process. Especially on stainless steel.
