Argoshield Light 2Ltr bottle.

Only my second post so still learning. I rented one of the new 2ltr Argoshield bottles from BOC and found it much better than the disposible co2 I was using. Only problem is it runs out too soon. Does anyone know if they will let me upgrade to the next size (X ? ) and what the current price is including rental charge.

Thanks Paul. Even with the offers I still cant justify (well I can but she WONT) the cost for what is just a hobby. I only live 2 mins from BOC agent so its no problem getting the 2 ltr bottles. I always run out just after they close though.

Taking out the volkszone offer could work out at only around £1-50p per week,depending on how much gas you get through, Even 20ltr refill at 230bar is about £23-00 plus vat with NO handling charge,

I started on the PD bottles, went through 3 in a month before realising that a Y with a years rental gave 20x the gas for the same money.

Same for me.. Started out with PD size and upgraded hassle free to volkszone deal. BOC credited the remaining rental against the PD bottle transferring it to my new deal. Agree that the PD bottles are good but don't last as long as advertised...
