Can somebody help with what is going on hear please.
I can run a flat bead with no holes or pits acceptable results ( for me anyway ), But when I run a bead on an 45° angle joint as you can see the results are appalling.
I have had the odd result but most are very frustratingly bad.
So what I've tried... Higher and lower amps, New electrodes ( from a reputable welding supplier), Running slower/Faster, I keep the electrode close to the puddle, angle not straight on just angled 10/20° left to right and center to the angle.
Welder is a 180 clarke turbo Set at around 90 amp, Sticks are 6013 Nikko 2.6,Material is 3mm mild steel.
