As above, I'm after a pair of high density hard-wearing plastic spacers. They need a 12mm hole, 42mm diameter, and 52mm length. Can anyone help?

How soon do you need them, and is colour a consideration?

I can look tommorow if no one sorts you before then .
It might me the diameter that I don't have though.

Ideally within a week or so if possible. I'd prefer black but any colour will do, thanks

I'll have a look tomorrow to see if I have anything suitable in the cave - if I do, I'll get it done ASAP for you.

Could also do with a steel press tool, if anyone else has time on their hands and is able to help...

    Overall length 70mm

    27.8mm OD for 25mm and 12.4mm for 45mm

Just to update my involvement, I have Delrin but the piece is not long enough for 2 off spacers so I'll have to bow out. I have nothing suitable for the press tool.

    Over to @ukracer or @bs2236 ?

Hang on, that's enough in diameter terms so you mean yours is too short lengthwise? [be quiet at the back ]

Perhaps we could make one each, unless @bs2236 comes up trumps?

Mine is not long enough for even one. It's wide enough but not long enough.

Do the spacers have to be one continuous lump ?
I have a few 25 mm thick x 6 to 8inch diameter black Delrin discs that could be either turned as individual parts or faced up to give the right length then threaded / bolted up with threaded bar etc & turned to size . If you pay the P&P I'm happy to get them couriered to you , each disc weighs around 500 grammes IIRC. If you are interested drop me a PM after you have worked out how many you need .

    Did you get sorted?
I've some UHDPE in black that I can turn down for you.
As long as it not to 0.001 of a mm. (or 0.1 for that matter,) I'm only a beginner at this machining lark.

Guys, a huge thanks to all of you who helped try to sort out these bushes for me. A number of people ended up without the right stock to help. Dcal has produced them for me and even managed to do a couple of press tools too. Dcal, you're a star. If any of you guys need anything and I can help, please get in touch. This is one of the really great parts of this forum. Not just useful advice, healthy discussion and a bit of banter, but people helping each other out.

    Cheers!

Sorry I could not help. I rarely offer as I either have to do caring duties or just plain forget. :(
    Glad you got sorted.
