Hi Folks,
I want to convert engine spark plug lead pulses into a clean square wave output (and avoiding the buying the VERY expensive ready made module).
I have found a relatively simple circuit - part of it relating to the NE555 is here in the pic. I can work out which pins the +5V -ve OUT and DIS pins are but I'm not familiar with IN+ & IN- designation.
So - the question, does anyone know which pins on the 555 would be designated IN+ and IN- ? The impulse comes in to the IN- pin so I’m guessing the IN- is “trigger” but anyone able to confirm and suggest IN+ ?
Thanks very much in advance!!
