using pressurised sandblast pots take a large quantity of air to run .using inadiquate airlines filters and couplings to the pot reduce the cfm delivered if u are using pcl couplings the bore on these are only 3/16th use the next size up which is 9/32 a lot larger .then u can use 1/2inch delivery hose. using the gear through 2 water seperators one on comp tank and one on the pot further reduces cfm the best way is take a supply of other end of tank with the larger coupling direct to pot using only one water seperator on the pot its self .doing a few tests i ran the pot using a 3mm jet the comp kept pressure at 90 psi constant using small fitttings and seperators .at the nozzle they didnt seem to be a lot of power. lack of cfm not pressure .on increasing the size of fittings pipes and only one water trap. i retried the setup the pressure decreased from 90psi to 82 psi but the volume well increased by a large amount proving that the restricted pipes were the cause
here are a few fittings shown in photos ive set comp at 120psi max so i dont use regulator in case anyone notices
hope this helps anyone having problems. forgive my composition
