now then, need to pick the brains of the collective. the alvis we are restoring uses a rotax c4602 starter which is also fitted with a feathering pump. during starting the motor turns one way and engages the starter, during feathering it then turns the opposite way and drives the pump.....
this is pulled straight from the service manual, but i just want to check im in the right ballpark with the connections.
disregarding all the relays and the feathering circuit, as far as i can see for starting we have:
bat + to IS terminal,linked to terminal 6(shunt)
IF bridged to terminal 4
-VE to ground
would others agree or am i way off? electrics arent my strong point
