Mk6 90/350 54 plate lwb semi high top rwd 250,000 ish on the clock good runner no whines etc.
Couple of years ago the clutch let go after 3 years trouble free service in my ownership, only maintenance was annual filters, oil, brakes, tyres, etc etc what ever needs for mot not much though.
Crawled under to fit the clutch and wow need to look at it and consider options. As a non runner worth say £500. Didn't want to buy another for say £5000 last another 4 years body wise with whatever goes wrong mechanically. So basically depreciate £1000/year.
As they say better the devil you know, it only looked a bit scabby in places so thought can't be too bad.
I hadn't done any welding as such before but figured it couldn't be too difficult was up for the challenge so front end conversion parts for got
and set about it.
