Mornin' all!
I need to get some body filler / bondo to fill a few small dings in a motorcycle tank. Nothing too major, but especially the recesses in the sides of the tank where the badges used to sit. Now, it's been years since I messed about with the stuff, and back then David's Isopon P38 was about all there was. I seem to remember that this stuff shrunk and 'slumped' a fair bit, usually needing a couple of applications, and still more often than not producing a 'ring' after paint where the repair was still visible.
I've had a quick scan through the Paint tutorial but still have a couple of questions:
Thanks all

I've had a quick scan through the Paint tutorial but still have a couple of questions:
- The tank will be 'bare-metalled', am I right in thinking the filler sticks better to bare metal?
- Do I really need filler, or would a 'stopper' be enough?
- Is there a brand of filler or stopper available which is 'ready-to-use'? i.e. doesn't need mixing with hardener / catalyst?
- What are your recommendations?
Thanks all
