I made a mistake and welded some 6063 parts using 4043 filler metal. All welds became dark grey after anodizing. Searching the internet, I found that fillers 5356 & 5183 mach the natural grey color of alu after anodizing process.
5356 is one of the most common fillers I think, but I heard someone here in Greece saying that 5183 has better results. Any experience on these fillers using 6-series alloys & anodize proccess ?
Do you know any product (like Blanco-type liquid or marker) that I can use to "paint" the welds in natural alu color ? (I am not shure if the RAL code for these ALU is 9006 or 9007)
