My expensive bike light has a failed charger/transformer thingy.
The old charger is rated at 4.2v and 1500ma.my local market guy has one that will fit but it puts out 4.5v.
Will this do any harm to the battery? he says he cant reccomend it in case it kills the battery; fair enough.
I can buy from China for a fiver but I'd rather source it locally
The original company sell chargers for £25!
Any thoughts anybody?
the light as about £200 ten years ago. Non cyclists that is almost their budget lighting system.
