According to the instructions, I need a 35 amp fused isolator to connect up my new (to me) compressor (see here: http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/h85a-f3.82351/). Its three phase, Neutral and Earth
I think this is just an isolator: https://www.screwfix.com/p/bg-4-pole-rotary-isolator-switch-32a-230-400v/8227r (also only good for 32 amps). All of the fused isolators i can find seem to be pretty expensive, but i am not sure i am looking in the right places! Can you point me in the direction of what i need?
The plate on the motor suggests it is 23 Amps (see below) and the five pin socket I have available is (I think) 32 amps, so can I run a connector from the socket I have available to the isolator and fuse that at 32 amps without any problems?
