Really helpful thanksSimilar situation to mine in 2008 when we moved here. They wanted £7.5K to run overhead to my barn. It just so happened at the same time EDF came knocking for a wayleave to access their poles and re-cable in 'bunched wiring'.
Oddly they wanted to know if the land owner would grant a way leave - I ASSURED them he would if he had his 3 phase connection FOC - which they did
May be worth enquiring, as bob said the shorter you can keep there cabling and the more you do will keep the cost down.I have also thought if looking at the easy way of a rotary converter. That only costs a couple of hundred
any trench work will have to be done at your expense .a 4ich pipe laid any bends in it has to be large radius and a draw wire put in . then they will take your eyes out pricewise and as said in another post if the transformer can handle the extra loadMay be worth enquiring, as bob said the shorter you can keep there cabling and the more you do will keep the cost down.
not in india by any chance are youJust climb the pole with a handful of crocodile clips.

Nice! I've only got 60A/ph I did start enquiring about upping it to 100A but other things came up and I haven't pushed it.I got 160 amps per phase with a bit of arm twisting
Grounding on the 11kv lines to allow safe working just in case it becomes reenergized.Nope, just round the corner from me.
