Hi all, Im after some 2k lacquer advise...
I just repainted a set of alloy wheels, got a good clean key to start with, primed with white Acrylic primer, left cure for 48 hours.... flatted back with 1200, then degreased, left dry then topcoat with white acrylic spray pint, left dry for 48 hours....then degreased and applied 4 coats of 2k lacquer (aerosol off ebay), then left in shed overnight (possibly to cold)....
When I revisited the next day, they were still tacky, brought them in the house and placed infront of radiator for 3 hours-still tacky....used a hairdyrer on them last night for a few minutes, checked this morning-still tacky.....
Any ideas why still tacky/soft?
Will it be due to cold?
Will it eventually go hard?
