i have what i believe is a 3hp 240v motor on my compressor
the first fault was that it just buzzed and wouldn't start ,looking at the capacitors inside i could see that 1 had some damage so i bought a replacement "60 uf 450v" but it still had the same fault
i then looked at the capacitors and they are both connected together and the other one has a smiler bulge this one is a "0-70 uf 130/450v" with this one disconnected the motor will run but blows the fuse if there is any load when started .
is the second one a standard 70uf 450v ??
are these 2 capacitors connected to make 1 large start cap ???
