I have a small handymig SIP. The tube that the wire feeds through seem to keep getting clogged up. I just replaced the whole trigger assy, and it happened again. I don't know the brand of wire, but it has built in "perferations" that make it easy to break off. Do you think I may have a bad ground? When welding, it is somewhat sparatic as if bad ground, or dirty metal. Maybe the wire is breaking on itself inside the tube and clogging up. Any ideas?? I"m ready to sell it and get a new, better welder. possibly stick welder so I won't have these problems! I do remember when the welder was working, I had a different kind of wire, without the serations. Maybe I'll try that. any help or guidance would be great!
