Hi
Some years ago I worked for a specialist Ausin Healey Restorer, these photos are just 2 of a set posted in the photo album section,
Any questions about the rebuild I would be pleased to answer.

That's a bonny machine from the side, although never understood the Frog-eyes from the front The Healey 3000 has to be one of the most beautiful cars ever made

The pictures don't really do the car justice, they are scans of photos,
the raised headlights were originally going to be flip up like a lotus, but the mechanism was apparently too complicated or expensive ,
we used to rebuild big healeys too, I have some photos tucked away somewhere if they turn up I'll post some, I just found the magazine the car was featured in it was October 1985, cant believe where the time has gone, the guy i worked for is still in business restoring healeys, they sell for up to 30k nowadays, this frogeye was valued at 8 to 10k after the restoration, he paid £1000 for it, and a further £4000 ish to restore, not a bad investment.
Beautiful cars Paul! If you don't mind, I might bother you with a few Frogeye-type questions once I have done a bit more work on my car (see the MG Midget thread)
