I've been thinking of doing a 3 phase motor and VFD conversion for my Hobbymat milling machine for a while now so those in the know can you tell me if these will work together.
the old motor is flange fixing with 75mm pcd (same as a 63 sized frame) and is single phase 250W at 2830rpm.
so Im thinking of using these two

and hope they work together. the only issue I have is that my motor has a 14mm dia x 30 mm long shaft, but the 63 sized motors have a 11mm dia x 23mm long shaft. unfortunatly there isnt enough space to run a larger 71 sized motor (which has the shaft size of the hobbymat). Im not wanting it to be used for threading and changing speed while running, its just that I need a slower slow speed as the lowest I have is 365rpm.
or if you guys have any other ideas Im open to suggestion, but never messed about with mains electric and motors before.
