My memory isn't that good, that's why I'm worried. I'll try again tonight and tap the gauge. I'm sure the valvue on the bottle is working, I'll try closing it and leaving the flow valve open to see if its putting out anything.
Thanks, that works for my CFM gauge that I can adjust, but not the main pressure gauge. I understand that when I close the main valve on the bottle there's no reason for the gauge to fall unless I can purge it some how?
I haven't done much welding over the last year, but have a project I want to work on.
I turned on my welder last night, opened the gas valve and then shut it off before I used it. I noticed at that point the regulator gauge showing bottle pressure still showed high pressure even with the...
Just a newbie myself, you're getting good penetration but your wire speed looks a little slow.
Also its tough to get good results on such dirty rusty metal. Clean it up before you weld and you'll get better looking beads.
Hi Lippyp, looks good. I like those little square clamps you use to hold your patch panel on. But it looks like there must be a T section at the back must be inside the rocker, how do you get it out once welded up? Does it collapse some how and pull through?
Thanks
I’m learning as I go here, I was just curious as to why this happened
I was trying to weld a ½” stainless steel bolt to some mild steel, I know you would normally need a different shielding gas than the 25/75 arg/co2 but I figured I wouldn’t need much strength for what I was doing.
