Update from yesterday.
I ordered and fitted a new door lock actuator to the rear door of my parent's car yesterday and all works great now.
We were lucky in that the door unlocked during the week and as the car is not used regularly and kept in a garage, it was left unlocked. This made the...
Update from the visit this evening to my parents.
Tried to unlock the doors with the car running, but you could not do this. My Dad said the battery was only replaced just over a year ago and you can see the green sign at the top, so this should be good.
We then unlocked the car a few times...

Worked very well and cannot fault it at all, noticed that is has doubled in price since I bought it nearly 18 months ago
Will take a look at what...

Mmm, an RG500, I am in the process of rebuilding my 1987 RG250 mk3. Frame powder coated and rebuilt as is the front end. Now working on the engine, stripped down, crank rebuilt, all new bearings and seals, engine cases sand blasted, waiting to be painted and then the rebuild.
