Definatly no trigger, however the carbon rods work.. And my god does it work! You place the rod on the panel and about 1/4-1/2 second later it arks and it has what seems like a 3 second timer, no sparks, mess, nothing, 100x easier than the way I've been doing it for years!
oh i know that, i use it every day in my bodyshop.... but have never used the carbon rods for shrinking
there is no trigger on the handle, the rest of the system is used simply by gently placing the stud against the panel (with the earth clamp) attached of course, its all timed for each...
thats the impression i had, but i tried it today, the star Miricle stud welder had a simple control panel, you select the application you want 1,2,3,4 and then it lights up the timer and amps area and you select what lights up, i selected 3 (if you look at the diagram on the welder) it looks...
lol, I can gas weld, MIG and arc weld already, and I have used TIG before, but have never put the torch together, and didnt want to break anything. Its all together now, i figured it shortly after writing the first message.
