Wow, just wow, i soooo glad youre pulling through and beating the bugger, youve a talent in writing, i was gripped just reading the last few posts tbh. How did the books sell? Any good?. I really cant believe, all this came about from setting your overalls on fire ! Maybe you should write some...
seems a bit odd, a learner buying an all singing and dancin tig welder, but ive been here before, bought a cheepo set to get started, then find it doesnt do this and doesnt do that, so i thought doorlocks and went balls out on a decentish machine whereby i could learn what all that stuff...
Its an R tech ac dc 210 . I tried it once and it went all bird sheet on me. So i switched it back to DC and went down the pub.NOW i have to confront the beast.!
Ive got an AC/DC tig and i can weld fine with DC, no bother.

Well, ive had my 180 for a while now,got it from WSD .Ive give it full bore on numerous occasions at top power, and i can say it hasnt missed a beat so far. My only bugbear is the hoover sounding fan it has fitted. Noisy bloody thing. Welds a treat though. Being so noisy you cant forget to turn...

also to note, dont use wire colours with pugs, the colours change frequently. they use wire numbers instead, prefixes ie (M)138 , m was masse which was an earth cable, theres other letters but i forgot them .
