Hmmmmm that could work....Any thoughts on the load capacity in that configuration? Weight of "average" car would be 1200/1500kg with 4 under each vehicle wheel + weight of the track rail. would the bearing be up to it?
Hi Folks,
Looking for some components to build a solution to my space issue...
Problem:
Garage is just wide enough for 2 cars, but in order to fit 'em both in, one car needs to slide aside. I've used wheel dollies, (machine mart), Go-jack type things and mobile axle stands and they all...
Heres mine......
I bought it already done...couldn't face another project right now after completing a bare metal resto on this....
All 2CV panels are available, and its a very, very simple structure !

Will make for much quicker progress....(PS Also get some goggles or safety goggles as well. )

I also sprayed 2k in the past, but with full air fed...
Well, my good mate Jack came around last night with a big ole crimper.....Place wire in fitting, squeeze, job done !!!
What a difference having the correct tools :)
Having said that, looking at the design, a modified nut splitter looks like it would do the job as well...
Cheers

Hi Folks,
Any advice on making up battery cables??
Thought I'd get away with crimping with mole grips then soldering.....Crimp was ok ish, not pretty but seemed tight, but I couldn't get things hot enough to solder.....
looking for a better solution...
Cheers
Gerry
My local fastener store has a big handwritten sign taped to the door informing visitors that if they are not buying boxes of 100+ they can f*ck off, (well thats not the actual words but the meaning is the same.... :)
