You could try some one who supplies semen for A.I. To farmers as they have flasks full of nitrogen, they could perhaps pour some off to you as and when you require.
It should sure be cold enough for your needs. It used to really burn my fingers lifting the straws out until I purchased a pair...
I would clean the shroud and gas diffuser and try that. Apart from that I don't think I would be getting too hung up on it as those beads look good!
One more thing, could you be welding too close to the fan vents on the welder causing a slight draught? Just a thought
Hth , Clem.
My bro in law has an HTC DHD and it looks like a real good phone but the downside was that it was totally mahoosive! Also the battery life seems to let it down a tad.
I currently have an N95 8g and am due for an upgrade next week. I like the nokia but I have had it long enough, having had it...
Im from Antrim so a fair wee bit between us!!
Mcintyres of Kilrea do lNE welders and they seem to be good. A mate has a 242 and it sees a lot of work. Bit underpowered really for what he does (much the same as yourself) but he has not had much bother with it in the 4 years hes had it. But they...
Ine are good welders but as you say expensive. I think oxford migs are the same as a portamig which get good reviews on here. Where abouts in the north you from?
Clem
Rab, you could buy the big spool and wind the wire on to your empty 5 kilo spool as you need it. This would perhaps work out cheaper for wire in the long run.
Hth Clem
In case you had not noticed George nobody has made any comment on your equipment here, just that you are trying tm weld something that may compromise the integrity of the metal and that is probably too thin for arc welding. Most on here have recommended brazing for this purpose and not welding...
George, I would not like that one bit at all. I have marked the weld that looks, quite frankly, scary. It looks cold with no penetration to the tube, at all, plus I have drawn a line where there seems to be no fusion to the plate. The weld below it also does seem to be cold too.
You seem to be...
I would be inclined towards a plasma TV as the colours would seem, dont know how to put this, not so garish. Blacks will be blacker and whites crisper.
Older plasma were not so good because they were a little duller but then so were lcd. The extended cover is more expensive for plasma screens...
Ta muchly for the input guys ill have a bash tommorrow if im feeling brave enough:scared:
I just dont want to make a balls up because a new one is really silly money (£750). Part of me wants to leave it as is in case I make it worse, but the other part of me wants to have a bash.
Ive not...
Thanks for the input lads, I could not find that on the net anywhere, maybe because I cant read German:whistle:
So preheat, postheat or just go in cold with these rods?
For a manifold would I need much of a prep or just a good surface clean and then run a small bead over the top of the...
Hi all, Noticed while replacing the gasket on an exhaust manifold of a tractor that there is a crack on the backside of it.
So was in town to get the gasket and said to the man behind the counter that i needed a few cast rods so he dissapeared for a few seconds and came back with 3 3.2mm...
If you have a link box perhaps you could lift it level with the boot of the car and slide it across onto it, that is if the cars boot is level which I imagine it is as it is an estate car.
This would mean that you would not have to lift it clear of the ground just "walk" it out a side at the...
Could it be that they are directional tyres on the car that are on the wrong way around?
This sprung to mind when you mentioned that it was bad in the wet.
Ive had cars in the past where tha shocks have been totally shagged and when I changed them there was not really a noticable...
