Thanks for that, Fazerruss! Very much appreciated. There's a stockist near here, so this might work out quite well.
Country Joe, they usually have agents around so it's worth checking. The agent closest to me is just outside of Banbury - and there's no mention of that on their website...
Hi,
As I've ran out of contract I'm no looking around to see what's the best deal for hobby welding out there.
I can't seem to find any information on Energas' pure Argon prices. A mate of mine says they're by far the cheapest, but I can't confirm that.
I am currently, sorry, was...

Ummmmm... Are you expecting to weld bike frames with a no-gas welder? If you are, you might be in for a bit of a disappointment. Do a lot of practise runs before you commit any money into a bike project. :welder: Good luck!

I wish I could find someone like that. It would make my life a lot easier, especially as I have to paint outdoors (rain, dust, bugs, etc). I've asked around but haven't been able to find anyone. I might have a second round of asking.
I have got the Axminster MCB100A and I have no real complaints with it. Once you've set it up it's a good work horse. It's not super accurate, but good enough.
