Great info, I always wanted to do this on my 2200i to fit a smaller torch like the ck9 but I ended up getting a wp9 size esab torch (still very bulky) and basically forgot about it, next time I do a load of tig I might just get around to it... never been able to find a 1/8 fitting like that...
I think it keeps the slopes because you can set the pedal minimum power to like 50% or 70% or whatever, so that it has enough control for the weld with less pedal sensitivity, otherwise when welding thick material you would always have say a full 3-220 amp stroke on the pedal, with the slope...
Is the machine in pedal control mode? I can't remember cause I always use a pedal, but I think if it is in pedal mode with no pedal attached it might just straight in to full amps... or maybe your set min pedal amps which is in the hidden menu you hold the Right arrow to get to the menu and it's...
I had a problem with my esab 2200 tig some time ago, abit more than a year after I got it, called the supplier and they were baffled by the problem and said to call esab, they had a service guy come out run so software updates and restore, but that didn't fix the problem so I rang him back and...
My latest project, pallet forks for an antonio carraro tractor, will take a few more photos when its done, just offering it up with tack welded lugs here.
yeah, this one burnt out from the center, welds didn't fail from what I can tell, the middle just burnt away completely, I think my parents tend to run it a bit hot really or turn it up when refuelling and forget to turn it back down so it's not surprising they burn out, it got the job done...
I got the same one last year 240v version, great jigsaw, and thats a bloody good price! think mine was £140 and with a normal box not the l-boxx but oh well!
this finally gave out today haha been running 24/7 over the winter so not too bad for some scrap haha not sure what I'm going to try next, we're planning on replacing the rayburn with a wood burning one this summer so perhaps a bodge to get it through the last of the cold weather (fingers crossed)
ah right I did a bit of searching and it seems they did make the vista sl in campagnolo version, so the freehubs must have been available at one point but I cant see them for sale anywhere, anyway if it works as is that all that matters! :) a freehub and cassette would be expensive anyway.
I...
ratios are the same for shimano, sram and others for the front, you'll notice many bikes come with mixed brands when it comes to front derailleur/shifter combinations.. even quite expensive ones ;)
not the same for the rear though shimano needs shimano, sram needs sram, the shifters pull a...
wasn't recommending it for other grinders and yes it is a pin on my bosch grinder, i just lock the spindle (stationary) and grab the disc with gloves on and twist it, pretty much always works.
here is the video link and link
sds nut=pointless, i almost never use a spanner to put discs on or take them off, probably only used the spanner for my grinder a few times, some times have to use one for wire wheels, i saw a video about some metabo grinders in which they recommend locking the spindle as the grinder spins down...
