It’s not a push through; it’s a reversible ratchet head on the smaller versions. Anyhow, it might well have worked. I’ll compare it against a couple of other torque wrenches where the ranges overlap tomorrow to see how close they are.
Used my Sykes Pickavant Motorq 800100 torque wrench at max capacity of 100Nm yesterday - too lazy to go and get it‘s bigger brother. Didn’t get the usual click; and now it won’t click at any setting, feels like it’s stuck. Always looked after it, domestic garage use, would the spring back etc...
I could do with a bit of advice. My house is on a shared private drive with four others. When we resurfaced the road a year or so ago, we included a few service ducts to remove the risk of us needing to dig it up in the future. There are five pots for fibre at the road edge and ducts to send...
Same here; about 2 and a half years since my diagnosis. HBA1C of 91; after six months of being v. careful with what I eat (around 40 to 100g of Carbs a day), recording BS every morning and what I ate plus Metformin, I'd lost 3 stone (17 to 14 st) and my HBA1C was 39. The consultant took me off...
They meet different specs - it’s not BS. However, they both meet VW specs 502 and 505. Check to see if there’s any odd spec your engine needs (some of the VAG PD Diesel engines are a bit fussy), but if it’s VW 502 or 505 you should be fine.
We also assemble a lot of stuff. The supply chain has become more spread out with sub assemblies being shipped all over the place before the final item gets built up.
Excellent point, well made. The (pretty much complete) lack of general understanding in the UK about how wealth is created is (in my view) a real barrier to progress. The politics of envy are as ugly as outright greed and selfishness - which applies as equally to the (stereotypical) greedy...
The current Halfords Industrial range isn't a patch on the original Halfords Industrial range. I've got both in the garage. The old stuff is US made and has thin lips to the drawer pulls - the new stuff is Chinese made - it's a direct copy but significantly less well made. The new stuff has been...
I see a whole bunch of people in first and second line management jobs who miss the point that a major part of their job is to help the people who work for them do their jobs well. That involves patting those on the back who do a great job and go the extra mile, and having straightforward...
If you don't opt in to the scheme your employer provides and you join your own scheme, then you'll be the only one contributing. There's no good reason I can think of not to join a company pension scheme. (I'm an ex Pension Scheme Trustee and have run DB, DC and auto enrolment schemes) Take...
