...I would imagine you are going to be in the SIP/Clarke/Sealey market there my friend...and with a bit of hunting around you will be able to get a 100 litre jobbie...;)...which is the minimum that was suggested to me at college if you intend running air tools for any length of time.

Morning....
Am looking to get my Portamig and Compressor wired in my workshop in the next couple of weeks...but really want to do the job properly. So after hearing that my 211 would be better on a 32amp supply I was hoping I might be able to pick your brains with regard to "hard-wiring"...
:laughing:...my 211 is currently living in my living room...;)...the drive is not done yet which means I cannot build the compressor house on the back of the workshop...which means that the compressor has to currently stay in the workshop...which means that there is no room for the...
...sounds good to me dude...so what cable to use then would be the next question...
...the compressor will be around 30 feet from the fusebox, whereas the Portamig socket will be about 2 foot from the fusebox...;)...just inside workshop door...
...I've just taken delivery of a Sealey 150 litre compressor...still got to build the lickle house for it to live on the back of the workshop yet...but it came along at the right price at the wrong time...so now it blocks my workshop completely...
...it should be 14cfm and has a...
...I would just like to say a very big [enormous actually...] thank you to Steve [weldequip] and my good lady wife for giving me one of the best birthday surprises I have ever had....
...a bloody beautiful PORTAMIG 211...!!! :welder:
...I will get around to some piccies at some time, but...
:laughing:...ours were made from EN24...all that filing and getting it to drawing just so that you could bash the crap out of it at a later date...hardening it, then polishing it back up so that you could see the colours running properly for tempering...those were the days...I know it...
No problem dude.....you need to contact Gill Brice on either gbrice@waltham.ac.uk or give her a bell on 020 8501 8406. Both courses run three times a year [September to June] and cost approx. £170 each...and they like you to complete the Welding one before the Restoration one...I really did find...
