Don't they recommending them for modern cars as they seem to be easier to steal than the older stuff.
I blame the cars on being wider than they need to be, spaces are not smaller, cars are bigger.
I've used these masks to spray a beetle(in a booth) and a scooter(in my garage) both in 2k. I'm still alive with no breathing problems but as its 2k there is no way I would recommend them. Also previously when in my 20's I have sprayed celly with no mask in a garage, did give me unusual coloured...
Just realised I never updated this. After being f****d about by the builder it was finaly finished about october time so about 8 months with me needing to finish the cladding and guttering myself, luckily I managed to get the materials from him so didn't loose out money wise. Costs in the end...
Good to know about the plastazote, I do have some samples of that. Was it comfortable and did it last well?
I have a bosch foam saw which is a bit like a jigsaw but with two blades, I have both 8 inch and 12 inch blades for it. Not cheap but works really well, alternatives are bandsaws and...
The standard seat type foam doesn't seem to be available and I've searched.Possibly buy a car seat foam and cut up. I've mainly used chipped foam, I want to try closed cell foam but as yet haven't tried..Heres a chop seat I've just done.
It was a well kown thing in the 80's scooter scene for number plates to be swapped, borrowing of AA membership cards, driving licences to be borrowed, different names given to coppers when pulled, 200's registered as 125cc's. A friend of mine had a motorbike mot testing station at each end of...
Quite a few years ago I mistakingly left a stone chip and it ended up with 3 inch cracks in about three or four directions, independant chip repairer drilled the end of each crack and the chip and did the repair. It pretty much disappeared and lasted for another eight or so years, cost me about £20.
At work all our keys are chucked in an ice cream tub under the workbench and we have some very pricey old s**t (sorry, classic cars) in for working on.Not my problem if they get nicked though.
I go against the grain, I also wet flat primer and also use my hand for sanding. Mind you most of the paint jobs I've done have been scooters so mor curves and less flat panels. I've always gone gently and sanded with my hand sideways to avoid finger grooves.
I bought some of the cheap draper ones and the females leaked from new, I think they are machined wrong so they don't pull the male in deep enough. PCL from screwfix worked fine, draper ones gone in the bin.
Both. What ever is more convenient, if I measure a square seat panel up it may be 10inches in one direction and 45 cm in the other. Sometimes it might be 10inches plus 10mm on each edge.
