Your spot-on there Ian, couldn't of put it better myself
Please don't post anymore, I cant help answering back, I'll end up getting the boot:(
I apologize to Malcolm and anyone else who I may have up set on the (thread removed????) that is now closed, due to me and my political views on the subject of immigration race and religion and my worries for my country, Malcolm has read the riot act out to me in a PM, I agree with him, freedom...
My 18 year old son, got some quotes for insurance on a little vauxhall corsa, they wanted over £2000, his car was only worth £700, I don't agree with no insurance but I can understand why they haven't bothered to get any, but then I have a mate who sprays cars he charges £180 just to prepare...
I may of contributed to that thread being pulled, sorry about that, but I am afraid some people feel a bit more passionate about their country than others, some people don't care a damn and ridicule others, if the subject gets brought up, people will respond, (it doesn't make them a Pratt)...
Thanks for all the Replies.
A Lot of people on the forum have built solid fuel stoves out of them (propane) bottles, really what I should or I am asking is how do they stand up to the intense heat? have anyone had their stove burning full whack over say a full day, if so have they notice any...
Hello
Have anybody got any idea what steel they use in the manufacture of Gas bottles? for say in the case of withstanding high temperatures in case of fire, or is it just made from standard mild steel, the thoughts I have is that they could be made from a special fire/heat resistant steel.
I sent him a email asking exactly how he does it, don't know if he will tell me or not. you got to actually see the joints in the copper , they are real smart clean runs of weld, but it amazes me that it's done with copper, I have never seen it done like this before.
A Few years ago I bought a copper boiler from a Guy in the Ozark mountains USA http://www.coppermoonshinestills.com , he welds/forges these still boilers and does a really neat job, the other day I sent him a email asking how he does it, he sent back a reply say that be makes the sections up...
Just Out of interest, what would the life span be of one of these gas bottle stoves? how long do you recon before they burn through, or just become knackered.
That is what I tried to do this morning:o bloody hell! I wondered why the tap started to freeze up, still was taking forever to empty out though, I think the best way mentioned is connect it up to gas burner do it the proper way:laughing:
Hello All,
I am going to build a Gas Bottle stove, I have a 19kg Butane bottle, which is 1/4 full, or so say my brother who gave me it, I recon more than that in there myself, I have been trying to empty it, left the tap open but the smell is crap and it seems to be taking for ever to get the...
Marky, I wasn't suggesting that your Mini wasn't genuine or anything like that, over the years these little cars have been messed about with so much it is hard to call them genuine mini coopers, even the one's that have been restored, people have had genuine/original cars, the body have...
I have been reading the thread, I cant work out if it's a genuine Mini cooper? many people think they have these cars, but because the mini have been around so long they have been lost to the scrapyards through people who don't know what they had, there are not that many genuine ones left.
I would be very careful, like what has been said (PC Brigade -14 year old) you will need eyes in the back of your head while your son has that grinder in his
hand, avoidable accidents happen all the time, I have seen people lose fingers my own brother sliced through his leg last year, he's a...
OK Chris, thanks, I'll have a look at it, I don't really like messing with my email things, I get in a pickle with setting up outlook express mail, pop3 http things, just setting that it up bad enough for me, so I just use hotmail.
