Hi all, does anybody know what the paint is and where I could get some?
It's a light blue which looks like Hammerite but has a drippy look about it
Looks like this
Thanks
Well, I said free standing storage area as its not quite a mezzanine floor.
Ive got a workshop that has lots of wasted space up high, its 4 metres to the pitch and Ive run out of space.
The idea is to make something in the back corner which I can store various car parts and junk on, I'd...
I've got a 77 6a too, my 4 speed gearbox is on its way out so I'm going to 5 speed it soon but otherwise mine has been pretty good, although bits are ford and triumph, some bits need to come from the specialists http://www.grahamwalkerparts.co.uk/Scimitar%20re-man.htm...
that reminds me of a tv programme about an architectural salvag place in ec1 london, this woman paid £500 for a piece of portland stone so her cat could use it as a step to get in through the utility room window, its a bleeding cat! they can jump, thats all they are good for, jumping and sleeping!
Ive found this with 0.6 wire, it burns back unless you tighten the tensioner up, you need more tension on .6 than on .8 wire
try a bit more tension, try it with 0.8 wire too on a test piece and see how it runs
visibilty? how clear is your mask?
you could run a line of french chalk to give you a line to follow
the diagonals look 'burned in' but the bottom run looks a bit cold like you had a lot of weave
You could probably name your price on that one, FG's are'nt ten a penny nowadays
£200 at least I'd guess
I nearly bought an FG last year, bid up to £2100 on it and chickened out and lost it by £50
Does anybody know where I could get a manual for a Castolin?
Its a Castolin Powermax 2, 140 amp lift start
I heard its a re-badged something or other but have forgotten what it was
Having seen pics of your consul, you would be better off stripping it and getting it shot blasted and etch primed. should be about £200, gets rid of all the corrosion and bodges, is quicker than scraping and sanding and saves you fortunes in abrasives and rust converters etc
