can anyone point me in the right direction for aluminium sections used for making panels and frames with, for example, 18mm sandwich panels.
My new project is a camping trailer, with an assortment of doors and hatches. I'd like to make a decent job.
Many thanks

I bought the same ebay pot two weeks ago and through desperation bought the Sealey grit from Amazon of all places.
All seemed to work perfectly well, my compressor is old but single phase, 100 ish litre belt driven thingy.
Was great and quick on rust, not so quick on old paint and wouldn't...
Honestly, if you haven't bought the stuff already you should speak to the guys at Buzzweld. They know all about Raptor and tinting it.
Just saying......
Have a look at Buzzweld, they have Raptor colour shots available. Which I think have been designed to sort some problems with previous tints. I know some folk have struggled with the opacity of the tintable Raptor.

Is this something I can buy off the shelf or do I need to have it made? Would settle for 30mm bar.
If it is available, what should I be searching for? I'd like to have a short length on the shelf for making up hinge pivots on a few projects.
Thanks for any help.

We use 13mm resilient bars regularly now though I often feel they're the latest buzz from the architect. They are installed perpendicular to the joists.
From your diagram, I fear you are grossly over engineering the job and perhaps over thinking it.
If you already have a fire layer I wouldn't...
Pretty much what RBDive said above. Soundblock boards and resilient bars although they require a support structure. You could try a gypframe type suspended ceiling again with soundbloc. If you need to support it mid span use wire to tie it to the ceiling above, the sound travels just as much...
I'm having issues with mine unfortunately. I had help tonight in an attempt to diagnose the problem but it is beyond our knowledge.
I've had one since 2011 and pretty much know which settings I need and when for a good weld. However, using the same settings I've always been using, I've started...
I'm in the same boat as Matt, and had settled on a Clarke. Then the Aldi offers came out and I've since looked at the Wolf 90 on Amazon.
Decisions decisions!
