the company i work for charges £75 an hour plus vat, helped a tech today trace a fault it needs a new connector which only comes wi a new loom(£23) but the total time for diagnosis and to rewire the whole machine is coming in at a shade under 14 hours, im glad im not doint the paperwork on...

angusdog thats one of the site i used when i got minem the first mods i did was to grind out for increased cross slide travel and convert the slide handles to bearings tottal transformed the lathe, but if the op gets the version with the readouts on the slide it will be even better

shox cant get me head around it as the pics a bit small, you said cut the clamp bar,am i right in thinking the clamp bar is jua a bit of angle n you cut it to suit the width yer bending or have i moiised something ??
