i'd just like to say how good this forum is too
even tho i dont post much i do spend alot of time reading threads and trying to learn a bit more about welding/fabrication
in fact ive been trying to get a work based placement as a welder/fabricator with no luck as yet but i'll keep trying...
just to add the CDS ive got is specificly (spelling?) for roll cages
in fact i had to wait an extra week as the supplier had none in stock :(
still huge thanks to dave at fastlok engineering for cutting/storing it for me
and for letting me stroll round the workshop drooling at most of the...
it looks like the use of the bender is now out of the window
so i'll be shipping the job out to someone

got the use of one (hopefully) that a local engineering company use for all their site work its quite a large piece of kit and the guides (the piece that connects to the ram) are nice and deep
if i cant get the use of it then im on the hunt for someone to bend the tube for me
(if i can find...
is it possible to bend 2 inch o.d. CDS tube (3mm wall thickness) with a centre bender (hydraulic type) ??
ive had a quick search of the site but others have asked about either thinner walled or smaller o.d. tube

i was given some wurth ones to try and they are really good
ive managed to de-rust most of my car transporter with one
and its still in tact
very impressed
had to change the regulator as they are different
also turned the pressure as low as it would go
then slowly increased it but still it came out of the gun.
looks like he'll have to send it away for repair

a friend of mine nowuses a mac tools 130 amp mig (sorry i dont know the exact spec)
he has been using argoshield for a year or two and its been fine
anyway tonight we connect some co2 up as he ran out of argoshield
and as soon as the gas was turned on it was coming out of the gun
any ideas...
the wall is a deviding wall between my workshop and garage
its bolted to another piece of 3mm angle on the other side which will become part of my shelving
(hope that makes sense)

the wheels are fixed to a flat bar which has two holes in it
the two bolts on the frame fit into these.
