35 years ago, a mate used to buy cheap quality posidrive wood screws for his business. They were awful, of course - hard to remove when the posidrive let go, which was a common occurrence . A supplier gave him some Reissers to compare. Even though a lot more expensive, he changed to them in...
My first observation is that it seems to be directly pumping the water around the collector? Not an indirect system with a heat exchange coil at the bottom of the DHW cylinder - if it was this type, hot water, already heated, would not be going back to the collector.
Do the collector tubes...
What exactly is is occurring? Does the motor trip out? Seems like it doesn’t on the lighter load? If the motor is configured as star, and the inverter output is 230 V, it will be under-powered - so may be as simple as reconfiguring to delta.
A single phase motor is a retrograde step, IMO.
Contact lathes dot co. is my suggestion. Tony may well be able to assist - he may recognise the logo, for instance. He might even like to add it to his website.
Doesn’t seem like a defective joint - as it has taken extra current to trip the CB. Fitting a RCD might be better than just relying on an over-current trip?
I would suggest the problem is with the user, not the product. Aluminium melts at around 660 Celsius; lumiweld only requires around 400 degrees - a 250 Celsius difference. I’ve used lumiweld on thin sections without any issue.
See this youtubevid as an example:
gas1 - I was referring to the heating rate that voipoi offered. They ain’t going to supply 10 litres of very hot water instantaneously with only a 3kW heating element. We are talking about ten minutes, which is not exactly ‘instantaneous’! H*ll, they don’t fit 7 and 8kW showers for no good...
As usual, some quite differing and interesting posts. The OP needs to be aware of a few points.
Preloved gel batteries won’t last long - that is pretty well certain - particularly if cycled to low state of charge.
7kW plug-in EV chargers are on offer on epay for about £160. Few require more...
I covered quite a lot of miles in a P100. Can’t remember its GLW, but doubtless over-loaded at times. It coped quite well.
I remember one late night (about 23:00h) with a well-loaded trailer and plod behind. I had arranged to avoid Bourne town centre but dare not take the diversion, as I...
I knew of someone living well over a hundred miles away from where he was clocked, at high speed, in Liverpool.
Problem is the real owner of the plate is treated as guilty unless proven innocent!
