I bought, today, an EVOLUTION circular saw with a blade for wood and steel. I might even go for the miter saw.
It runs @ 3400 rpm, has a 1 inch center hole for the blade.
What gas are you using ?
If you use pure Nitro you'll have a big lack of penetration.
That's why there is CO2 in the MIG mix.
I'd say you have too much wire feed and not enough power added to that
You need to :
1_check if at BDC the piston head clearing the exhaust and intake ports
2_ see if the cylinder ports match those on the piston if any
3_cylinder ports and cranck case ports if it's a cranck case induction
If the bottom of the ports are lower than the piston head you can raise the...
In the Us they use something called Plastigage or Flexigage, for adjusting the crankshaft journals and fining the correct thickeness to be used. It seems to work pretty well and it's hassle free.
The only rant i have about Jallate's boots, in fact 2 rants, is they're not water proof and after some mnths of abuse the soles tend to give away like delaminating.
I'm working on an old French brand pillar drill, a SYDERIC S13, dating from the mid 60's.
The motor is shot, 2 wingings are shorted and one is open circuit
Can't fit an other motor as the bracket is round and it's a tight fit so i dropped it in an electrical motor specialist to have it...
That looks good and i like your solution.
At work we finished a machine with a 1500mm long ballscrew (the very very expensive type) and during fast moves we get some vibrations with harmonics, had to lower the Kp value in the driver and the acceleration timing as well, but the motor turns the...
The main concern is if the TIG generator is able to create and maintain a proper plasma flow with 3Bar of air blowing it away ?
I could give it a try as i have both, if i have time to do it ?
I would go with a simple 2 axis setup, X and Z
What ever the lengh needed like 500mm for X and at least a 50mm length for Z
And now why a Z axis ? As for a plasma CNC you can adjust your "torch" height with a simple switch used for the plate detection.
Some simple full motorized ( nema 17...
I bought the same plasma (but bright orange) like 5 years ago, cheap, and at the same place as you.
Sent many emails and phone calls, never got an answer for consumables.
Never getting anything from them ever and i'll never recommend them either, avoid at all costs.
Otherwise the little 40...
