Nope drill was bought new by me and had a crappy chuck that knackered in no time , so the sticky was factory done . I cut the chuck off with a angry grinder in the end but it was too late for the poor old gear box . Still kept as a garage tool just doesn't sound very happy in high gear :doh...
Just an aside I knackered a gearbox on an Hikoki cordless trying to get the chuck off . It wasn't the screw they'd that they'd locktited but they'd locktited the chuck on the spindle :clapping:
A couple of days ago I made a silly mistake
good job the blade wasn't sharp , we'd been cutting fireline and sound block boards so the blade was hammered . It took a nano second and there was plenty of claret , No hospital so I'm not in @doubleboost s club yet ;)

A husqvarna WT 15 in want of a very good clean , battery is dead and I havn't checked the charger yet , I jury rigged another 18v battery and the switch and pump work fine and it's water tight .

Not so simple my good man , their is no battery cover as such you have to remove two upper and two lower screws from the cover then remove the whole cover and voila ,,,,, it reveals a battery . no combination of presses of the only two buttons appear to kill the display :dontknow:
Your probably right at Sylvac @Brad93 the writing is well rubbed but what is clear is the made in W Germany . had the cover of last night and gave it a quick clean and new battery and it's working . What I can't work out is how the feck to turn it off :dontknow: I thought it might be an auto...
