Tungsten is not tungsten.
I did some test yesterday to see the behavior between white, grey and purple E3.
Grey is not the best for stable arc.
White and E3 is good on low amp and freq. On high amp e3 is better then white. Grey is also ok there.
All tests are on 65 negative. From 120 to...
First repair after a few months.
Very busy times at work actually.
Anyway…
Jäckle 200A AC/DC Tig is back to life.
Not a big deal.
Charge resistor and DC-Bus capacitors gone bad.
I don’t think so.
Any system is absolutely different.
We got metric and bsp on mating side.
Hose side are mad. EU, French, GB, JP, US…
In hydraulic systems there is also a difference between light and heavy.
They will never ever be standardized.
Because I am german most metric.
Except of hydraulic threading.
Some clever engineers invented M16x1.5mm very near to 3/8“.
You can get it together in some ways.
(I scrapped all the metric fittings in my work). But hose side threading is metric anyway .
I tend to measure in bananas as CCE...
I can not really understand what you mean?
Fronius got several interfaces.
Euro, Thread, Dinse 13.
Torch control is also different.
In most cases I do an modification to standard Dinse and DN5 quick connection couplings.
I got all of them in my collection.
Speedway 320 is a heavy duty torch.
100% duty on 350A DC/ 245A AC.
Mine is equipped with a super flex cable and silicone hoses.
Ck 20 is also very good.
I rarely use it because it is a bare cable/hose torch and I always manage to get knots in it.
Weldtec...
If it is the old Lorch 210 then I would not buy it.
I got 2 of those.
AC ignition is weak, no adjustment of frequency or balance.
The newer models are very good instead.
Gys is also not my favorite.
Cebora is a good choice.
