Hi all,
I need to replace the outer sill only without cutting the inner as that is OK but my 4in angle grinder will chop through the inner now, any ideas?
I did think a dremel but I don't have one of those.
Thanks.
Out of interest how does a tester know this when you've bodyfilled it, primed it and painted/undersealed??
I was planning on plug welding like you say though.
Thanks all for the great advice, stuff there I never even thought about!
I do intend to just cut out the damaged area which basically runs from the front wing to the B post roughly 1mtr.
What I should have mentioned is I had a go at pulling it but it's quite a complex deepish one so I quickly realised I'd be better replacing it!
Car is a sort of project car to learn on shall we say! so is not in daily use.

Thanks, rules me out then! Only just starting out!!
Argon mix more forgiving I take it, yeah did read about the small bottle lasting 10mins but seeing as I only have a few bits to do thought it would do the job for now.
Hi all

I am aware Argon is better but I don't have the regulator for that at the moment (will look at that down the...

I went out today and bought a used Clarke 151te to hopefully do some car body work, will this be OK for thin stuff ie 1mm?
