Now that you have mentioned it what your saying makes sense I wouldn't even of picked up on that I seen the big fan cooling wheel and thought that should keep things cool but as you said it's not actually at it full potential because it just blowing air all over the place I'll see about getting...
Well at least we got to the bottom of it looks like 7cfm on the compressor do you know if these big compressors can run for long before they over heat since you've had a couple yourself my wee cheap compressor £100 job does three cycles then it shuts down for 20 mins to cool down but it does...
So I got testing the compressor today and it doesn't do the job takes about half a minute to empty half a tank and any pressure after that is useless for blasting so just wondering if I put another 50ltr tank on it would that make much difference?
AHH I get it now so my compressor is rated to operate at 11 bar and 16.5 test pressure makes sense now thank you for clearing that up for me you learn something new every day
Hi everyone thanks for the info I'm using a sandblasting tub just a gravity fed one with a normal blasting gun kinda like a air gun for blowing dust of stuff I'm thinking of getting a pressurised blasting pot I'm new to all this I have a general idea but just don't have the technical side of it...
Not great news then I was given it as payment for a job as the guy said he used it to spray old classic cars and it said 16.5 psi on it so I thought it was better than my wee cheap one as it only has 120psi well looks like I was wrong so basically my we cheap one is actually better than this one
Hi all thanks for the quick replies I was hoping that it was 14cfm so I could sandblast some car parts like wishbone and things like that I have another picture for yous to look at maybe will help
Hi I'm just hoping somebody on here can tell anything about this Ingersoll Rand air compressor I have been given and it doesn't say what the CFM is any information would be gratefully appreciate
